Savills is one of the UK’s leading property managing agents, with an international network of over 600 offices and associates. They provide a range of specialist advice, management, and commercial services to their clients. Their UK portfolio has waste requirements at around 450 locations.

The issue.
Savills were using multiple suppliers across the estate to collect waste, with an inconsistent approach.
As a result of the fragmented service delivery Savills had limited visibility of their processes, overall spend on waste and recycling data.
The solution.
Rather than tender their existing services and only enjoy a unit rate improvement, Savills engaged with us to develop a strategy to reduce waste and manage costs.
We developed a uniformed approach to invoicing all waste and recycling services whilst providing central reporting on recycling rates and waste spend. This approach was cost-neutral.
For continuous improvement plans and cost reduction, we provide Savills with dedicated account management, focused on delivering recycling and reduction solutions.
Our rationalisation programme saw a reduction from some 93 separate collections companies down to 42.
